My Trailer of LIE TO ME - season finale

Editing being my passion, I edited and made a trailer for the season finale of one of my favourite TV show ' Lie to me ' .

To make the trailer I have made a montage taking scenes from the final episodes of Season 3 itself and synchronised it to the music of Inception 'Mombasa' and also to the music of Sherlock Holmes 2 trailer 'Unstoppable'.

Replicating my inspiration

I have drawn these Character sketches (ink sketches) made originally  by Andre Medina  - an exceptionally good character designer who is my  main inspiration to start doing character sketches .
Sketching my own character always has been a bit of a difficulty for me but on seeing Andre's work , I feel like sketching my own character . So here's me drawing Andre Medina's ink sketches , which was the push for me to gain interest in character designing.

 I have taken permission from Medina , to put up these sketches on my blog.

To be or Not to be

This is a painting done on My Paint .
When I started off with this painting I thought of making an abstract tree but my painting took a new turn as I thought of  a volcano eruption  and a mushroom cloud explosion , which is what made this abstract doodle   interesting .

Oh Liberty !

This is a first of the 3D projection done by me . 

We had a masterclass in which each individual had to take any background , draw it in Photoshop or my paint and project it on a low poly of my geometry and animate the camera in Maya.

2 Image Project | Artisan

' The 3D Project ' !
This was our 3 month long  project where we had to depict the workshop of an artisan in 3D.
I chose the workshop of a paper lantern maker. It was the time of Diwali, the warmth and vibrancy of the colors emitted by the lanterns lit up the whole street and that was my inspiration to choose a paper lantern maker.
In the span of these three months we modeled, rendered and textured our scene.
My favorite stage in this project was texturing the objects in the scene.

Abstract Animation | Sound Sync

 Aimed at animating abstract and simple shapes and synchronizing them with soundtracks .
The soundtrack I chose is called Serpentine. With my chosen soundtrack and the abstract shapes I intended to portray the monotony in life through  circles. The main challenge which also was a learning experience was to use simple shapes in a way that they portray the intention .
